X12, HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR examples: disassembly and assembly of standards-based interchanges.

These tutorials handle industry standards end to end: inbound and outbound X12 (850 and 810), HIPAA 835 remittance posting, HL7 v2 ADT feeds, and outbound FHIR observations. Each uses a custom disassembler or assembler pipeline component with canonical messages in between.

EDI 850 purchase orders. An X12 850 interchange fetched over SFTP, split per transaction set, booked by a SQL Caller.

EDI 810 invoices outbound. Approved invoices extracted and rendered to X12 810 segments, delivered over SFTP.

HIPAA 835 remittance posting. An 835 ERA split per claim payment and posted with PHI-aware audit framing.

HL7 ADT patient feed. An HL7 v2 batch split on MSH into one PatientEvent per message, keeping the MPI current.

FHIR lab results outbound. A SQL poll shaped into FHIR R4 Observations and PUT conditionally by an API Caller.
